BEcommunity Auction 

 

Join us for our school’s biggest FUNdraiser of the year! Tickets are on sale NOW for “An Evening at the Races,” our 4th Annual BEcommunity Auction on May 1, 2020 at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell. Register by March 13 to get $10 off your ticket. Or find a group of eight and purchase a table for $15 off per person. Come one, come all: grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and family are all welcome to join in on the fun. All proceeds go to the East Ridge Elementary PTA to pay for things like emergency preparedness supplies, the Art Docent program, school community events and much, much more.

What is the BEcommunity Auction?

The BEcommunity Auction is East Ridge Elementary PTA’s main (and extremely fun!) fundraiser. Thanks to the generosity of our school families and community members, last year we raised enough to provide social-emotional learning books not only for our school but a sister school in the district. We were able to sponsor numerous programs and activities that promote academic enrichment, cultural awareness, community service, etc.  Funds raised also allow us to continue equipping our school with emergency preparedness supplies.  This community event brings our school together to ensure that our kids receive the best possible enrichment opportunities at East Ridge.

 

We are a Bear Creek family. How will the BEcommunity Auction work this year?

We want to have one last party all together to celebrate the community we’ve built over the past four years.  EVERYONE from the Bear Creek Elementary community is welcome at the BEcommunity Auction and we hope you will join us.  We are excited for the majority of Bear Creek general education families to join us at school next year, why wait to join in the fun?!  Because students at Bear Creek are going in several different directions next year, logistics prove it highly difficult to distribute funds to multiple locations and therefore all proceeds raised will benefit East Ridge Elementary’s PTA.

 

I can’t attend the auction but want to participate. Will there be online bidding?

YES!  Online bidding is easy and free from the comfort of your own couch. More details to come…

 

How can I help?

Donate or procure an auction item

Do you or anyone you know have a vacation home, boat, private golf membership, wine club membership, season tickets, or access to cool experiences? Do you have a good relationship or are in business with restaurant owners, artists, gardeners, house cleaners, car detailers or organizations that provide lessons or summer camps? If so, please print and fill out a procurement form (HYPERLINK HERE) and turn it into the office, or contact the auction team at becommunityauctioninfo@gmail.com for next steps. We appreciate any and all donations!

Do you or someone you know own a local business and would consider sponsoring the event? As a sponsor, your business would have visibility to our nearly 200 guests and the broader school community.  We have some great sponsorship packages available at levels from $250-$2,500. Fill our Silent Auction Baskets with goodies

With your help, we are hoping to fill the following baskets sell at the auction: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Avengers, Road Trip 2020, Racehorses, Time for Mint Juleps, Taste of Kentucky and Taste of Washington.  To purchase items for these baskets, simply check out our Amazon wish list (https://tinyurl.com/BEBaskets) to help to fulfill our basket needs. There are items ranging from $5-$100 on our wish list, please consider contributing according to your budget.

How to order basket items:

1.      Visit the following link: https://tinyurl.com/BEBaskets

2.      You will see a list of all items on our baskets wish list. You can select as many items as you would like to purchase from the basket (you must be 18+ to make a purchase).

3.     At checkout, please select the shipping address “BEcommunity Auction Baskets c/o Joan.” Items will be delivered to our basket coordinators for assembly and delivery to the auction!

4.      After you purchase the item please email BEcommunityAuctionInfo@gmail.com letting us know that you purchased an item for a basket. We will recognize all basket contributors on a special thank you sign at the auction.  A tax-deductible acknowledgement letter is also available upon request.
