As we approach the January please take some time to consider volunteering in the game room which opens up January 16th! Student game masters will be trained to run the indoor game room (located in the art room) on Thursdays during lunch recess. These game masters will be given skill building sessions in how to encourage all levels of appropriate game room play and inclusive socializing. They will also be trained in peer conflict resolution so that they can practice problem solving skills alongside game room participants. Therefore, parent volunteers serve more as "supervisory back up" during these volunteer slots. East Ridge students need your positive encouragement and may rely on you to help solve some of their bigger challenges. This is a great opportunity to support and engage with all students! If you have any questions please reach out to Tanya O'Rourke at inclusivity@erpta.org
